Five odd hours of walk to cover 15 odd Kilometers with veteran hikers Bijaya Babu Siwakoty and  Hitesh Bhattarai was really a fun and contemplative. Not that I am a couch potato as I love short jogging but long walk for fun and health has never happened to me except going to and returning from jatra after hours of walk during my childhood days.

Continuous 7 hours walk on the way up to Sai-lung and back to Melung has happened to me 20 plus years ago and, annual– Sungure jatra, Sittali-besi jatra and charange jatra which need at least three hours of knee joint threatening walk from and to home, Walking to Maipokhari and back to doctor’s quarter(during internship) in Ilam are some of my worth boasting walks. But those fitful whimsical walk are different from now’s thought producing health conscious walk.
